IBEW 29 Golf Outing

Tuesday, June 4, 2019
The locals annual golf outing was held on June 2 nd at Blackhawk golf course, we had 31 foursomes tee off at 8:00 am. The rain held off and fun was had by all, and this event is more about having fun and building solidarity than it is about who’s the best golfer. We had some very colorful and unique golf attire that was worn by several golfers, we should have taken pictures to post for everyone to enjoy, maybe next year.

The beverages that were delivered by the ladies (Caitlin Mullin and her friend on one cart and Debbie Slaney on the other cart) were cold and there when needed, and I thank them for the great job they did and at the same time I hope they had fun doing it.

The food at the end of the day was very good and plenty of it (Vic Fiore wasn’t there so we had extra) and I think we had a nice variety of prizes this year. I want to thank Jim Depoe along with Becky at the office for all the work that goes into making the outing so successful. I also want to thank all of the tee sponsors and everyone that came out and golfed and I hope to see everyone at next years outing.
