IBEW International Honors 55 Year Member Vic Fiore

Thursday, March 22, 2018
Vic Fiore, a longtime member of the IBEW received a service pin and certificate from the International for his 55 years of membership, at the monthly Union meeting in March. Vic has served as the President and Assistant Business Manager for many years and for multiple Business Managers and he is still serving Local 29 today with the same dedication and passion he has always had for safety and justice for the members of this Union and we are better off for it. He has recently held steward training classes, and with his sharp memory is always giving anyone who will listen a history lesson on what has happened with this Union and how we handled the Company in the past. He is an expert in workers compensation and serves on a committee for PA. Workers Comp. Administration, and has been mentioned in a book on the history of Workers Comp in PA. Vic loves being a part of arbitrations although he sometimes is known to talk too much as a witness, but most arbitrators love him. His knowledge is invaluable to Glenn Camp and myself in dealing with the different Companies. Vic is always looking for someone to buy him a meal, so feel free to treat him the next time you see him and get a history lesson while you eat. Thank You, Victor, for all you have done to improve this IBEW local.
